The Blue Ridge Chinese Brush shop was built mainly for paid participants or alumni of my classes; however, it is now open to the public and set to be able to ship most items except a few bulky ones as of August 21, 2026.  

If you are a student of mine, you would normally select pick-up so that you can save shipping and receive your items on the day of the next class.  Please place class supply orders at least three days before class. I highly recommend that you buy the new brushes before class so that you can learn how to use them instead of just watch me use them.   You also have the option to do a featured brush rental or not use the featured brushes and just paint with what you have.   On the day of class when you check in, you receive your bag of pre-paid supplies.   If you have not prepaid, it will take more time to get started. 

You'll be able to order items after class in person, such as the new brushes I modelled that day,  using Square contactless, check or cash.  I do not carry cash to make change.  I bring a mini shop of things with me for sale--not the entire store--but definitely the new brushes of the day, some paints, journey folders, some ink samples, brush rolls and brush washers.
