The Small Orchid Bamboo (SMOB) -  Bamboo nodes, dots, writing, small bamboo leaves.A beautiful little brush with a slim, expressive tip but not too detailed; with time you will be able to do the grass orchid flower with this one, but its strength for beginners is in bamboo details.  Also beautiful for the Katydid body and small flowers including the grass orchid (with practice).

The Large Orchid Bamboo - (LOB) - Makes sideways, classic bone-shaped trunks, mums, large petals, large orchid leaves, iris flowers and leaves.  This gives the widest trunk with the most bone-like shapes and pronounced nodes.  It is also great for fruit wood branches, chrysanthemum, showy iris, daylily, long or wide leaves, bird legs, feathers, tails, insect bodies, and landscapes.

These are in the online shop and are sold as a set, not individually.  They have black plastic ferrules and are great for painting with ink or darker colors.  As you get more advanced (or just prefer to have a set for painting with ink to keep your bamboo handles and bristles cleaner), you may want to acquire one.
